An improvment on their original Asteroids game, this is much faster and the graphics much neater than the original version. This is the version to play if you like asteroids, it is even better than the great Acornsoft's Meteors. I've never seen a copy of this for sale though, so at least it's at the archive.

Almost exactly the same game as the one by US Gold, this is a really good isometric 3d platform game, the only difference in this version to me is that the action is viewed from a slightly shorter distance, and the graphcis are therefore not as high clarity, but it is very nice all the same. I think I prefer this version to the US Gold one, it is just somehow better in the movement of the sprites and characters, but it is very close!

This game is similar to Superior's Killer Gorilla 2, but it is actually a lot better! The graphics are nice and large, and the game actually features Mario, instead of a substitute character. You have to get back Donkey Kong, who has been captured by Mario, you play Donkey Kong Junior, and have to climb and dodge snakes. It is a good fun game to play, but not as good as the original Donkey Kong.

The original racing game, this is one hum-dinger of a game! Racing around the track at high speeds, with really neat graphics, giving a 3d effect is brilliant. The only bad thing about it is that it does not have much longevity, once you have one one race, you just go back to the beginning again, so there is not much of a feeling of achievment.

A great game from Jeff Minter (!?!) one of the best games designers ever, in this you play a chracter who starts in the middle of the screen, you have to shoot all the robots to win. It is made harder for the fact that there are 8 keys, 4 to shoot in the main directions, and four to move! A great original game, which is fast and playable and doesn't get boring for a long while.

You probably know this game by a different name, Deathstar by Superior Software. Theirs was the clone and Sinistar was the arcade original by Williams, but liscensed by them to Atari for the home formats. The graphics are almost identical to Deathstar, but I think that in Deathstar they move a lot quicker and look better. The basic aim is to blow up the big deathstar thing before it is completed.
