An interesting feature was that they used blue cassette tapes on most of their games! I like the covers of the cassettes mainly because they have some nice artwork on the front. They were based, like a lot of the companies in England, in Liverpool.

Please contact me if you have any additional information about the company or its games!

Basic collect the keys game, you have to collect the keys from the crypt, whilst watching out for the monsters which invariably lurk around every corner! The graphics are pretty average, low res but with lots of colour, unfortunately some of which clash! Not the best of games, but then again not the worst either.

A game by Mat Newman, who also wrote games for Amcom, including the excellent Fortress. This is a completely different, you are a small thing ( I can't work out what it is) running around a maze infested with evil things. You have to collect as many crystals as you can, and gain points for each one. It is a good game, but can get boring after wandering around for a long time, and seemingly not getting anywhere.

This is a complete rip off of Manic Miner by the same company? This is so weird, I can't believe that a company would make two games so similar! Well perhaps I could, if they even looked the same, but this one has really awful graphics, and is completely unfair. The puzzles are much too difficult, and it is way too easy to die. I think this is Manic Miner's evil twin brother.

Pretty average platform game, unfortunately all of their games seem to be emulating their biggest success, Manic Miner, which is never a good idea! The graphics are very bland, and the gameplay leaves a little to be desired, little more than jumping and climbing is required, but it isn't all bad, the games theme tune is the one from the a-team!

A text adventure game, this has a novel and quite original feature, a difficulty selector! You can select 100 levels to play the game at, 0 being the hardest. This is good because it means people who normally find adventure games too hard will enjoy this! Anyway, about the game, it is very nicely presented in multiple colour mode 7 graphics, with some good descriptions fitted in, it makes a change from the normal bland descriptions you get because of lack of space.

The classic from Broderbund was licensed to Software Projects for use on the BBC B, I think this is a great game, the players character moves really well as he dodges around the levels, avoiding the enemys (in the shape of other men) and climbing on ropes, up ladders and digging holes to stop the enemies reaching him. There are loads of levels, a level designer, and all in all it is brilliant.

A true classic, ask anyone and they'll list this in their top ten old games. It really was a novel idea back then, over 18 caverns of sheer enjoyment. You have to puzzle your way through each level, by collecting all the keys before you run out of oxygen. If you only play one game today, make it this.

A pretty good platform scroller where you control a Squirrel who has to collect the nuts from around the level, negotiating trees and various other platformy things. The graphics are very nicely drawn in high-res, and despite the complexity of the game they are very colourful as well. Definitely worth a bash.
